We are excited to announce another special REMS event with orthopedic physicians, Andrew Bush MD and Kimberly Zambito MD to bring this groundbreaking technology to cities across the U.S.!
Conventional bone density testing by DXA has been proven error-prone and incapable of measuring bone strength or real fracture risk. What has been truly needed is a safe, radiation-free way to test bone strength and determine real fracture risk and this is just what the new REMS (Radiofrequency echographic multi spectrometry) testing offers. With this new REMS technology (click to learn more), individuals can get an accurate picture of their bone strength, their true bone density and their real risk of fracture. An accurate assessment of real fracture risk forms a solid basis for developing a life-supporting bone strength-enhancement program, rather than blindly following non-life supporting mainstream recommendations.
Register for this special REMS events to get your ultrasound, radiation-free, bone strength and bone density test.
If you are unable to attend, stay tuned for future events in your city!

REMS produces an automated report within minutes, whereas it may take 1-2 weeks to receive results from a DXA scan.
REMS calculates both bone mineral density and a Fragility Risk Fracture score, a measure of bone quality/strength which is not provided with most DXA scans.

Dr. Brown is excited to introduce a groundbreaking technology during Osteoporosis Month that will revolutionize the way we assess and monitor bone health. Traditional bone density tests have been proven to be unreliable and inaccurate, leaving people with an incomplete understanding of their bone health. With this new technology, Echolight (click to learn more), individuals can get a more accurate picture of their bone health, allowing them to take proactive measures to improve it, rather than just being told to take bone drugs. Dr. Brown will be joined by the founder of Echolight, Dr. Andy Bush, to showcase the benefits of this breakthrough technology. Don't miss out on the exclusive osteoporosis month event offerings listed below and take charge of your bone health today!

In February 2022 at 61 years of age, I was diagnosed with severe osteoporosis of the spine through a DXA scan. Physicians prescribed shots or infusions to be taken immediately and indefinitely. These options seemed severe considering my age.
I took to the internet to research this disease and all available options. During my research, I became aware of the ECHOLIGHT/REMS scan that had been used for many years in Europe. There were a handful of facilities in the US, and I was lucky enough to be a state away from one of those facilities.
The ECHOLIGHT/REMS scan was a non-radiation ultrasound that provided information on Bone Density as does a DEXA; however, it also provided something DEXA did not…... a measurement of bone quality. How good was my bone that remained? It would also provide me with a fracture risk assessment. How likely was I to break if I fell?
I scheduled my ECHOLIGHT scan and was on my way. My consultation revealed an error in my DEXA scan which was confirmed through blood work and the ECHOLIGHT. The ECHOLIGHT was fast, painless and within a few minutes of doing the scan, I had information on my bone density, bone quality, and my risk of fracture for the next 5 years. Now having a complete picture of my bone strength, the doctor and I could determine appropriate next steps. In my case, there was no need for medication (a far cry from my initial DEXA diagnosis), my bone quality was good, and my fracture risk was low.
I now have completed my second ECHOLIGHT/REMS scan and will continue to do so each year. I am so thankful that I could get comprehensive information on my bone health. Dr. Bush spent a tremendous amount of time explaining results, options, and next steps. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Bush for his hard work in bringing this technology to us.
I hope to see this technology available in Virginia soon!
